4 NEW GERMAN COACHES AT WYNRS

My first week at WYNRS

Hey, my name is Vincent or just Vinni and I am one of the new Interns at WYNRS since the beginning of February.
I am 25 years old and originally from Berlin, but I moved to Cologne to study Sport Science at the German Sports University 3 years ago.
I play soccer for 21 years now and started playing Futsal 2 years ago, where I became German University champion in December 2007.
I made a study abroad semester at the Sunshine Coast in Australia last year (from July – November), where I could play for my University at the Uni Games in Melbourne. It was a great experience to play in a team with 11 different nationalities.
After my semester I went travelling through Australia and the South Island of New Zealand. I liked New Zealand so much that I decided to go back.
I got the chance to make an Internship and WYNRS and now I am here!
In my first week at WYNRS we went to a lot schools to promote our afternoon soccer programme. It was fun to play with the kids. I have not thought that soccer is so popular here, but most of the kids love it.
I will stay in Auckland until the end of June. I am looking forward to the time here and at WYNRS. I donīt miss Germany at all, because it is too cold there at the moment.
