RANGERS WANT MILNADONA

Andrew Milne has received the sort of news that changes your whole life. Glasgow Rangers of Scotland, who possess one of the most famous youth academies in Europe, want to sign our young Kiwi star. After trialling last year at Rangers together with Cameron Lindsay, Andrew was asked to come back for another go. Cameron as we know received interest to sign with both Rangers and Blackburn Rovers, settling then for a 4 year deal with the latter.

"Milnadona" as he is known locally returned to Scotland three weeks ago to start a second 1 week trial with the Glaswegian giants. Andrew's performances with the U-17's and U-18's were so impressive the club asked for him to stay 1 more week! That was then extended to a 3rd week followed by the fantastic news that they now want to sign him!

Similar to Cameron Lindsay who will be living in England with his father, the same is happening with Andrew. Born in Glasgow in 1992, Minadona's Scottish father who resides in Glasgow will help make the transition much simpler for the Mt Albert Grammar pupil.
Once all the paperwork is completed with the local NZ clubs Andrew will be able to sign and complete the dream of wearing the shirt of one of the world's most famous football clubs.
Testament to the Wynrs boys and staff who have worked so hard to make these opportunities come reality. Congratulations all round...
