Stefan Marinovic got the shock of his life when he came on in the last 30 minutes of a European pre-season friendly with Schalke 2nd team last week. It had been incredible enough training with the other pro’s from the Bundesliga giant (2007/ 08 turnover 89 million Euro- $NZ 180 million) but to actually get on the field in an official game with the senior players was mind blowing.
Following the training week in Switzerland and then two weeks at German club TUS Koblenz, Stefan and Jonathan Coluccio moved to the industrial area “Ruhr Gebiet” home to some of the Bundesliga’s biggest footballing clubs; Bayer Leverkusen, FC Cologne, Borussia Dortmund.

Unfortunately Jonathan has been unable to train for the first few days at Schalke but Stefan has impressed immensely with his training and playing performances in goal. This week the boys will fly to Manchester and train for a week at Blackburn Rovers. See “News Headlines” 30.06.08
