14th GRADE METRO CHAMPIONS
31/08/2009
The
WYNRS 14th
grade
Onehunga Sports Metro league team has beaten Oratia 6
– 1 on the weekend and in doing so has claimed
the league title.
Coached by Hiroshi Miyazawa the team has played some great football over the last few weeks which has seen them go on an impressive run in the championship round losing only once. Miya would like to congratulate the team for keeping such a good team spirit especially after losing key players Matt Glover (injury) and Josh Sansucie (overseas) and see’s this as being one of the keys to their success.
The 13th grade side has the chance to emulate the success when it plays East Coast Bays this weekend in a must win match for the championship. We wish them all the very best.
