DYLAN IN JAPAN
29/09/2008
Dylan
Windust is into his first year at the famous Seiritsu
High School Football Academy in Japan. Hoping to
follow on a similar path to Michael Fitzgerald , who
signed with J-League club Albirex Niigata, Miya and
Wynton were able to watch him in action with the
academy. Playing in defensive midfield Seiritsu lost
2-1. The pace of the game and skill level of the
Japanese boys is something that all Kiwi players have
to come to grips with as many others dream about
progression to professional clubs around the world.
The game was played next to Urawa Reds stadium and
Dylan will have the opportunity this week to watch
Red Diamonds at home v Mario Hofmann’s Kyoto
Sanga. Tickets are sold out for the clash which has a
capacity of 70,000.
Wynton moves on to Germany now and Miya will return home for the holiday programme at the Wynrs academy.
