AARAU MASTERS 2010 SELECTION PROCESS UPDATE

For
the last 4 weeks the following 18 players from the
WYNRS Junior academy have been attending the final
trials for selection on the WYNRS Under 11 European
tour February 2010:
Justin Bailey, Liam Jones, Luke Clissold, Jack Rathbone, Josh Brame, Jimmy Banks, Anthony Jones Lewis, Joseph Long Smith, Paolo Korkman, Jack Vaughan, Leon Van Den Hoven, Qenan Jusuci, Davis Stewart, Thomas McCloy, Robert Tipelu, Sapreet Singh, Nick Milner and Daniel Clark.
The Players have been put through their paces at Waikaraka Park by head Academy coaches Leigh Kenyon and Hiroshi Miyazawa playing in the same 5 a side format that is played in the Aarau masters tournament that WYNRS will compete in. The squad is set to be cut and the final selection will be announced by the end of the week to all players. The trip to the Aarau Masters is a once in a lifetime experience for our young WYNRS players and last years first trip saw our boys tackle some of Europe and the Worlds biggest clubs – Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen and Manchester United to name but a few!!
Both Leigh and Miya would like to thank all the players who have attended the trial process, each and every one of the players can be very proud of the high level of performance that was produced during this time. Stay tuned for more news on the trip coming soon.
