Wynton World Cup

Writer: WYNRSWYNRS

Ihaia Gray will represent NZ on September 13-15, 2018 at the inaugural event

The inaugural Wynton World Cup will be played out in Bremen early September. The idea was created through the signing of USA soccer star Joshua Sargent now in to the first year of his 4 year contract at Werder Bremen. Players aged between 9-13 years will come from all over the world to compete at the world finals in Bremen. This skills competition for individual competitors has taken off in China & USA with 100's of kids taking part in the hope to qualify for the world finals. In Bremen the final two winning players will then shoot a penalty at half time Werder Bremen v Nürnberg. The game is scheduled for Sunday September 15 at home in front of 40,000 spectators. Good luck to NZ representative Ihaia Gray.
